Open Lambda
Bridging an open-source serverless research platform into a usable product, in collaboration with DSI.
Work on OpenLambda, an open-source serverless platform — collaborating with the DSI team to take the project from research prototype toward a usable product. Contributions include strategic framing of early use cases, community-building, a project website, and a deployed live OpenLambda instance.
“OpenLambda started as a serverless research platform, but for a long time we have wanted to make it useful to a broader audience. Bridging that gap between prototype and product is hard to do alone, and recent collaboration with the DSI has changed the trajectory of the project. Maria Oros and Abe Megahed have been especially instrumental, helping me step back and think strategically about our first real use cases and how to attract a broader community. They have given thoughtful feedback about the project, helped set up a website, and deploy a live OpenLambda instance.”
